May 5: what astrologers read
Mercury, the planet of travel and trade, joins the steady Bull for your birthday, which falls right in the middle of Taurus's 2nd decan. In astrology and number lore, the number 5 is seen as restless, quick and eager for variety. Though mid spring grounds you in the physical world, most Taureans are less adaptable than you. You prefer testing ideas in real life over reading theories on a page.
Your work goes well when your week includes variety, whether you teach, handle commerce or solve practical puzzles on the ground. You hate the feeling of being boxed in by dull rules. Astrologers say you need loyal affection and space for exploring your own interests in your relationships.
